Description[edit]
Many previous attempts to populate the subsector faltered. The population consists of small Human, Aslan, and other settlements, plus part of the Altarean Confederation of the Murians.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The exceptions to the Altarean Confederation's general lack of external entanglements are trade agreements with Human systems in the Old Colonies. These worlds have exchanged favourable Altarean trade terms for protection against ihatei expansion. While the Confederation strives to maintain peaceful relations with Aslan clans, most of its External Services' conflicts have been with ihatei settlers encroaching in these systems.

- -2000: The Zhodani Helix Nebula Expedition.
- -1582: Sindalian Empire dissidents travel across the sector.
- -1104: The Zhodani Great Rift Expedition.
- 102: Corellan League traders contact the Murians and inadvertently share jump drive technology.
- 605: The 'Great Pulse' of Imperial settlers begins, during the turmoil of the Frontier Wars and Civil War.
- 626: The Driantia Steblenzhtia or Zhodani Colonnade Province is founded.
- 995 to 1065: The Imperial Second Survey.
- 1065: The Second Survey is published. Information about the region becomes widely available.
- 1075: Hyperion Lines gains control of Hyperion, establishing the Hyperion League.
New Era[edit]
The non-Altarean worlds of the region were overrun by the Aokhalte and their allies, and this is their main holding in the Post-Collapse Hierate. Standing in the way of their dominance is the Seieakh bloc in neighboring Iphigenaia.
